TWILIGHT TREE (WINTER)

 

Twilight, a magical time, a time of transition, life cycles mirroring the seasons.  Some Winters can feel like an endless struggle; barren, dark, cold.  Yet somehow through the miracle of these cycles, hidden down deep, there is germination at play.  Energies are preparing for rebirth and expansion into another cycle of light and growth.  In the solemn darkness, there is beauty, strength, acceptance for this

shared experience.

Playing with one of my favorite color palettes; bright magenta and purple appearing even more deep and rich when contrasted against a black background.  Another nod to movement inspired by belly dancing floor work.  Twigs gathered on nature walks in the neighborhood, her dress is made from vintage lace gloves and feathers.
