DRAGONFLIES #8​

This old multi pane sash window led to further inspiration from Warhol's repetitive  pop art color blocking variations.  Being able to play with different color palettes for the diversely colored and amazing dragonfly was a fanciful & fun exploration.  Dragonflies are incredible creatures and symbols of transformation.  They don’t just transform, but do so in a radical way: spirit, mind, body.  From a venomously vicious nymph into this majestic being.  No one ever said transformation was easy, but coming into the light is worth every struggle.
